Grammy 2024 Predictions

Updated: Feb 5

Tonight, the 2024 Grammys will surely take the internet by storm at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles. The night will be hosted by Trevor Noah, so the commentary is all but guaranteed to be more tasteful than the disastrous Golden Globes, hosted by Jo Koy. I pray, for Trevor's sake, that his remarks on Taylor Swift, who is coming off of a record-breaking, industry standard shattering year, remain light and fun. Especially because my biggest prediction of the night, is that Taylor Swift will be announcing Reputation (Taylor's Version) tonight during an acceptance speech. But I'll get to that later.

The 2024 GRAMMYs, officially known as the 66th GRAMMY Awards, will air live (8:00-11:30 PM, LIVE ET/5:00-8:30 PM, LIVE PT) on the CBS Television Network and will stream on Paramount+ (live and on demand for Paramount+ with SHOWTIME subscribers, or on demand for Paramount+ subscribers the day after the special airs).

Three new GRAMMY categories will debut at the 2024 GRAMMYs: Best African Music Performance, Best Alternative Jazz Album and Best Pop Dance Recording.

For now, I'm looking at the nominations and predicting the winners. My predictions are bolded and will be explained when we have the official list of winners tonight.
